Almost A Year. I've Learned A Lot. About One Thing.

So here we are, almost a year after my “playing bigger” and “re-emerging” and I wish I had a beautiful summary of all things - from accomplishments to failures (that I would then spin as a road toward success) and losses to gains. But I don’t.

On the contrary, I have only one bullet point:

Playing Big (Or At Least Bigger)

For me, blogging IS playing it big (or at least bigger) because this is writing that goes out to the eyes of other people without the fine-tooth combing of an editor or multiple iterations of the same ideas as a book. I become totally open to praise yet completely vulnerable to criticism. It’s both exciting and scary and it makes me want to smile and also vomit. Yikes.

I merge my personal and professional lives together so I can hold space for me. Through this blog, I re-emerge into the world as a whole person. A person who is flawed yet tries, tired yet excited, achieves yet fails. A person who is doing her best.
