Salesforce AAPI Awareness Fair

We were grateful to represent Rooster and Hen Resources during AANHPI Heritage Month and thankful to Salesforce for hosting such a meaningful community fair.

Many who visited our table shared personal experiences of grief within Asian communities where talking about death was discouraged and feelings often went unspoken. Common themes included silence, fear, and normalization—each story unique yet connected by shared cultural threads.

Generational differences also resonated. Elders often lacked the time, language, or tools to discuss grief with children, and emotional wellbeing was rarely emphasized. Today, these conversations show how much progress has been made in creating space for healing and open dialogue.

We left inspired by the willingness of so many to share their stories and break the silence around grief. Every experience is valid, and every voice deserves to be heard.
