Rooster & Hen Resources is honored to partner with the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund to provide a half-day, in person training session for staff and mentors who help students navigate through grief and loss.

This interactive workshop blends seminar-style learning with reflective practice, equipping staff and mentors with tools to respond to grief across developmental stages and recognize the impact of transitions, layered loss, and re-grieving. Grounded in insights gathered from a recent listening session, the training emphasizes social-emotional learning, relationship-building, and practical strategies for meaningful engagement.

Participants will also explore creative approaches—such as art and storytelling—to foster communication and connection, while prioritizing reflection and self-care as essential components of sustainable support.
